We love having you here, but we know we’re not the only blogging game out there when it comes to real estate investing, and we love you enough to help you explore.
Sure, it’s a little dramatic, but it’s important to come armed with all the knowledge you can amass, so you can understand for yourself why our crowdfunding platform is the best place you can tuck your money away so it can get working for you.
We’ve assembled a list of nine real estate investing blogs we think bear a read. Check them out, and then come on back here and let’s talk.
This site is your one-stop shop for all things related to real estate investment. The blog features articles and advice from the industry’s top investors and is full of helpful information for new and seasoned investors alike.
This blog is stacked so full of pros, there’s no way you won’t come away with powerful knowledge. It employs real estate investing experts on staff and takes a humorous approach to topics, drawing readers in.
3. Epic Real Estate
This blog showcases routes to financial independence without a huge up-front investment, which we love, because at RE/DEV, our minimum investment is $1,000. We don’t think first-time investors should be scared off because of price, and neither does the author of this blog.
4. Just Ask Ben Why
Ben, the author of this blog, found the route to financial independence after being forced to give up his dream career as a concert violinist when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Ben knew he had to provide for his family, and set about doing so through the acquisition of rental units. While our properties are intended for sale at RE/DEV, we appreciate Ben’s approach to learning about real estate investing for the uninitiated.
Author Seth Williams’ aim is to help people create passive income while working on it on a part-time basis. It’s an excellent blog for those who might be a little intimidated by the idea of investing, but want to understand how the game works.
This site offers information for investors from start to finish. It’s important to note that not all the information here is specific to crowdfunded platforms, but it’s an excellent resource for general knowledge, featuring topics such as asset repairs that both add value and are tax deductible, and finding the best property class for first-time investors.
7. Real Estate In Your Twenties
It’s no surprise to us that at least some of you are under the age of 30. Congratulations on getting ahead of financial independence before your finances get ahead of you. If you’re nervous, unsure or simply lack knowledge, that’s OK and understandable; no one is born knowing how to invest. This blog takes a no-nonsense, non-threatening approach to investment education.
This is another great site for general information. Visit for the basics or for exploratory questions as you learn more and ignite an appetite for knowledge.
9. The Real Estate Guys
The Real Estate Guys, investment experts Russell Gray and Robert Helms, offer both an in-depth blog and a podcast targeted towards investors.
